original lyrics by The Black Keys [Whistling] I wanted love, I needed love, Most of all, most of all Someone said true love was dead And I'm bound to fall, bound to fall For you Oh, what can I do? Yeah Take my badge but my heart remains Lovin' you, baby child Tighten up on your reigns You're runnin' wild, runnin' wild It's true Sick for days in so many ways I'm achin' now, I'm achin' now It's times like these I need relief Please show me how,oh show me how To get right Yeah, it's out of sight When I was young and moving fast Nothing slowed me down, Oh slowed me down Now I let the others pass I've come around, Oh come around 'Cause I've found Living just to keep going Going just to be sane All the while not knowing It's such a shame I don't need to get steady I know just how I feel I'm telling you to be ready My dear

lyrics by Isaac Brock Travelling swallowing Dramamine Feeling spaced breathing out listerine I'd said what I'd said that I'd tell ya And that you'd killed the better part of me If you could just milk it for everything I've said what I'd said and you know what I mean But I still can't focus on anything We kiss on the mouth but still cough down our sleeves Travelling swallowing dramamine Look at your face like you're killed in a dream And you think you've figured out everything I think I know my geography pretty damn well You say what you need so you'll get more If you could just milk it for everything I've said what I said and you know what I mean But I can't still focus on anything

I never knew until now that "Hey Joe" isn't originally Jimi's but TJHE's version is just the best-known version. Regardless, [1st verse (Oo - backing vocals on each line)] Hey Joe, where you goin' with that gun in your hand? Hey Joe, I said where you goin' with that gun in your hand? Alright. I'm goin down to shoot my old lady, you know I caught her messin' 'round with another man. Yeah,! I'm goin' down to shoot my old lady, you know I caught her messin' 'round with another man. Huh! And that ain't too cool. [2nd verse (Ah - backing vocal on each line)] Uh, hey Joe, I heard you shot your woman down, you shot her down. Uh, hey Joe, I heard you shot you old lady down, you shot her down to the ground. Yeah! Yes, I did, I shot her, you know I caught her messin' 'round, messin' 'round town. Uh, yes I did, I shot her you know I caught my old lady messin' 'round town. And I gave her the gun and I shot her! Alright (Ah! Hey Joe) Shoot her one more time again, baby! (Oo) Yeah. (Hey Joe!) Ah, dig it! (Hey) Ah! Ah! (Joe where you gonna go?) Oh, alright. [3rd verse] Hey Joe, said now, (Hey) uh, where you gonna run to now, where you gonna run to? Yeah. (where you gonna go?) Hey Joe, I said, (Hey) where you goin' to run to now, where you, where you gonna go? (Joe!) Well, dig it! I'm goin' way down south, way down south, (Hey) way down south to Mexico way! Alright! (Joe) I'm goin' way down south, (Hey, Joe) way down where I can be free! (where you gonna...) Ain't no one gonna find me babe! (...go?) Ain't no hangman gonna, (Hey, Joe) he ain't gonna put a rope around me! (Joe where you gonna..) You better believe it right now! (...go?) I gotta go now! Hey, hey, hey Joe, (Hey Joe) you better run on down! (where you gonna...) Goodbye everybody. Ow! (...go?) Hey, hey Joe, what'd I say, (Hey.......................Joe) run on down. (where you gonna go?)

about

I've been playing guitar for nearly a decade and have been in numerous bands through the years, but have never really produced anything I could really call my own. I wanted to put out a collection sooner, but I spent almost half of 2017 in Tokyo, where I had no access to a (left-handed) guitar the whole time. It was an amazing experience where I learned so much about Japan and myself, but after awhile, I became frustrated that I couldn't get out my emotions of homesickness & isolation through playing. Once I got home and grabbed up my guitar, it was like meeting with an old friend; we'd both changed and grown but were still able to pick up where we left off and work on our next project, which ultimately became this album.
As I enter my 22nd orbit around the sun and my 4th physical self, I decided it's time to release what I've been working on for so long. I wrote the sections of each song, but once I lay them down, I just play whatever comes to me. Regardless, every track on here is a piece of my heart that I want to share with you as I start the next chapter of my life. I hope you all enjoy!
